| 2007 Draft Kit questions: |
| 1) Is purchasing your Draft Kit the same as becoming a member? |
|
Yes. Basically, when you purchase our draft kit, you get
access to our members area.
This includes all of our pre-season info to help you in assembling your team (sortable
projections tables, custom cheatsheets, and strength of schedule charts) as well as
acecss to our weekly Defensive charts (see sample),
which we update every week of the regular season.
|
| 2) There are other fantasy projections services out there. Why should I
choose you? |
|
Trust and accurate projections. This is our
7th consecutive year on the Web providing you with accurate projections and
fantasy tools. We are not not a big corporation and do not rely on mindless
formulas. Each of us has been playing fantasy football for well over 15 years,
dating back to the pre-internet days and we each have won numerous league
championships and national prizes. All of our projections are still done by hand,
one at a time. We started this site because we loved fantasy sports and wanted
to build a website that we would use ourselves to help
us manage our teams. |

| Projection questions: |
| 1) What categories do FFR's exclusive projections consist of? |
|
FFR's hand compiled projections are available for more than
350 NFL players, including rookies, and cover virtually any offensive categories used in fantasy football. Quarterbacks are projected for 15 categories. Running backs, Wide Receivers and Tight Ends are projected for 20 categories. Kickers are projected for 11 categories. For a sample of which categories are projected for each position, simply go to FFR's actual
2006 stats (We project for all the categories on the stats pages). |
| 2) Do you project individual defensive players? |
|
We do not project individual defensive players,
as the majority of leagues use team defenses asopposed to individual players. We do project team defenses
(9 sortable categories in the projection section) and also use
that information in tabulating the Defensive Planning Charts at the beginning of
the year. As the year progresses, then, we rely more and more on the actual
defensive statistics rather than our projections. |
| 3) How many players does FFR project each year? |
|
FFR projects more than 350 individual offensive players on a yearly basis or more than 12 players per
team, in addition to team defenses
|
| 4) How are the projections compiled? |
|
Along with priding ourselves on the number of projections we offer, FFR is also one of few to offer hand-compiled projections. Each of the offensive players projected every year by FFR is closely analyzed, looking at a number of factors including recent and career trends, age, playing elements
(team dynamics, surrounding cast, injury likelihood), and historical comparisons along with many other factors. Only after this process do we reach an agreeable prognostication for the coming season. |

| 2007 Member questions: |
| 1) How do I customize my password? |
|
On the member's homepage, there is a link near the top on the left side that says "Change your user
and password". Click that link and enter the same e-mail address you used to sign-up through Paypal (must be the same one). Follow the
instructions and you can change your username and/or password. You can also update your e-mail address at any time from the member's
homepage as well.
|
| 2) How often are your projections and cheatsheets updated? |
|
We offer dynamically updating projections and cheatsheets and update our numbers whenever news happens
(assuming we are all not still asleep). We keep you informed through our daily player updates of whose fantasy value is on the rise or on
the fall and you can rest assured knowing you are armed with the latest info and projections when it comes time for your draft.
Our last projection update will occur on September 8th, 2007, the final Saturday
before the season kicks off.
|
| 2) My member name and
password do not work. HELP!! |
|
The username and password you were given DO
work. In 6 years, they have ALWAYS worked. If you are having problems entering
our members area, the most common mistake is that your CAPS LOCK button is on.
Your username and password are case-sensitive. Also, double check that you don't
have any extra spaces in there as well, as this can cause your access info not
to work. Basically, as long as you enter your username and password exactly as
you have received it, you will be allowed to enter. However, just send us an e-mail if you are still having problems and I
can always double check everything on our end.
|
| 3) How can I correlate FFR's projections to find value specific to my league's rules and scoring? |
|
FFR's projections can be accustomed to nearly every scoring option used in leagues via the Customizable Cheat Sheets. With FFR's Cheat Sheets, you can select only the categories your league uses as well as the value allotted to each category. For example, if your league gives 6 points for a passing touchdown and .5 points for a reception, the Cheat Sheets rankings can be altered to reflect these criteria, making them 100% pertinent to your league for optimum success! |
| 4) What do you base your in-season
Defensive Planning Charts on? |
|
The DPC's are one of our handiest tools,
allowing you to look ahead at not only matchups, but strength of matchups as
well. For the first few weeks of the season, we use our own team defense
projections to calculate rankings, but gradually switch to incorporate the
actual 2007 stats into our equations. These charts are especailly handy as
some of you start looking ahead at possible playoff week matchups.
